James Jennion
Research Associate
James Jennion is a British foreign policy analyst and Research Associate at the China Strategic Risks Institute (CSRI). He recently completed the Democracy and Human Rights Service Fellowship at the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy. He has worked for and with a range of international organisations including Amnesty International, International Rescue Committee, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). He began his career advising the UK House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee, leading parliamentary inquiries on the UK's policy approaches to China, Myanmar, and Taiwan. He has provided media commentary on foreign policy issues to a range of print and broadcast outlets, including The Guardian, AFP, France24, and Nikkei Asia, and written op-eds for a range of international publications including The Diplomat and Global Taiwan Brief.
